The Day Drake Got Too Fried to Function… and Still Landed Degrassi

Before the superstardom, before OVO, before the memes, Drake was just a kid trying way too hard to fit in. And honestly, the chaos was real. Young Aubrey finally got accepted by a group of cool Jewish kids at school.

To celebrate, he smoked weed for the first time. Bad idea. The man got so high he basically short-circuited. Full paranoia. Heart racing. Splashing water on his face like he was stuck inside a Clearasil commercial. He legitimately thought he had ruined his entire future.

And here is the twist. It all happened on the same day he had to audition for Degrassi. The role that kicked off the entire Drake timeline we are currently living in.

High out of his mind. Overthinking every breath and fighting for his life in the school bathroom. Somehow, he still showed up. Somehow, he still got the part. Imagine being that fried and still securing the job that changes everything. Inspirational in an accidental way.
